We all love to eat, don’t we? We have reached to a point where food is no longer just a life-saving supplement, rather something that hugely satisfies us. However, the problem with this is, we sometimes consume things that end up adding a few pounds to our body, and we absolutely hate that too.
So, the biggest confusion of life arrives: we want to eat, and we don’t want to get fat. Is there a solution? Well luckily, there is. There are several food items that you can eat which while satisfying your hunger pangs and taste buds will not add those extra kilos to your body.
We discuss some food items that you can eat, without worrying about getting fat. Take a look:
We all know how wonderful chicken tastes when cooked properly. It is one of those rare lean meats that are loaded with proteins and while being extremely delightful to taste don’t really add to your bulges. Moreover, the protein in chicken gives you the feeling of ‘being full’ for longer durations, and that way you end up eating less over the course of a day. Chicken gets high points for its taste and its versatility.

Just like chicken, eggs too are a fantastic source of proteins. They only average 78 calories per serving and that way you can eat a lot of them without having to worry about the calories. Add to that, the fact eggs are relatively cheaper, and can last for a longer period at fewer expenses. Added benefits of eggs are that they are loaded with HDL cholesterol and Vitamin D.

Hey, vegan friends! We’ve got things for you too. Broccolis are undoubtedly one of the best food items on the planet. While young kids won’t agree to that, the fact is that these are extremely beneficial to your body. First of all, it is easy and quick to cook broccolis and secondly, it is pretty incredible as it induces several cancer-fighting enzymes to your body. This way you stay healthy and the more broccolis you eat, the better it is for your body.

Fun fact; almost 95% of celery is water! It also comes very low in terms of calorie count. However, just because there are very few calories in celery doesn’t mean that it lacks in vitamins and other nutrients. Celery is rich in Vitamins C, A and K. Moreover, it is one of the very few ‘negative-calorie’ foods on the planet; because your body has to burn more calories once you eat it. Definitely, a big thumbs up to a lot of celery consumption.

Potatoes are rich in several nutrients and help in keeping your digestive tract intact. While other variations of potatoes might not be as good, the boiled ones can definitely be eaten even on a diet.
