So, before the parent set their house rules they need to have a clear conversation with the children and explain them why they should obey such disciplinary habits. With democratic parenting no one is really in charge. Each member of the family is free to do as they wish. With this type of parenting there is usually a great deal of love and affection, however, because of the lack of rules children may not learn how to abide by them as they grow older, and it can lead to problems with authority figures in the work place as they become adults.
